Complaints About a Rating

Why Is My Team's Rating Wrong?!?
Although we do make occasional mistakes, and we sometimes receive incorrect scores of games, both of which can produce an incorrect rating, the ratings are much more often than not correct.  Still there are reasons why teams can seem to have ratings that are too low (or too high).  Check this explanation for details.
 
How Are Power Ratings Generated?
This section outlines in detail the mathematical method used to generate the Power Ratings.  A Java applet is included that provides a demonstration of how this iterative process works.
