The DHC Hannover mens lacrosse teams are looking for a head coach for the second half of the season, starting at the beginning of January 2018. As a coach you need to know how to communicate, motivate and develop our players. You have to plan and execute intense practices. You have to be present at all our practices and games. But the most important project will be to build a sustainable youth program and to recruit new players. Teaching lacrosse in schools will be an additional part of the job.

About us: Our club currently consists of 30 active mens players, making up two field teams and one box team. The first mens team plays in the first Northern-East League and has competed in the German playoffs several times. Our box team has now qualified for the German Championship twice in a row. The men's program has also developed some talented players who played for the U19 German National Team and currently are part of the Senior German National Team.

We are competitive and dedicated. We want to play on a high level of lacrosse and compete at international tournaments. We want to develop and grow the game locally and recruit more (young) players for mens and youth team. The DHC Hannover has exceptional training facilities including two artificial turf fields and a natural grass field.

Qualifications: Several years of coaching at high school or collegiate level or playing experience at the highest level.

We are looking for lacrosse instructors/counselors for summer 2018. You must be qualified to prepare, teach and lead in the specific activity. Our sports programs are well-equipped and facilities are excellent. Boys and girls participate separately in athletics. Your curriculum must be developed and brought to camp ready to put into action. When you are not instructing in your area of expertise, you will work with the group of campers that you live with as a general counselor. Previous experience and the ability to work with all skill and age levels is important. Most important is a healthy, positive attitude toward children and sports. Must be available June 10-August 13, 2018. Room and board are included.  Salary: Commensurate with experience.  Appointment: 2 months.
