Ghent Goblins (Ghent, Belgium)
.  Available: Immediately.
Belgium is going to the European Championships in Amsterdam this June. It will be our first appearance on a major tournament. We are lucky to have a Canadian and American coach for the national team, who are residing here already for more then a decade.

But in the clubs we haven't got that luxury. All clubs are coached by players, who learned the sport from the Internet, YouTube, and the occasional clinic in Europe. As I heard from Canadian Brian Potter, who currently coaches in Cologne, Germany, there are a lot of North Americans willing to cross the Atlantic Ocean to coach a club in a starting nation. Therefore, I'm launching this request if any player would like to come to Belgium, in particular to Ghent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghent).

We are the second club in Belgium, have a full men's squad (28 players) and women's squad (18 players), and have been playing for 2.5 years. In Belgium, much as everywhere else on the European continent, we don't have the funds to pay a coach, but if someone would be interested, we can give him a place to stay with one of our players. We would also try to help you to find a job if necessary. Even if you would only come for a couple of weeks/months, you are very welcome. We appreciate any help we can get.  Appointment: Part-Time

Cologne Indians (Köln, Germany)
.  Available: ASAP.
The Cologne Indians women's lacrosse team is searching for an experienced, motivated and dedicated head coach to lead our team and continue with the development of our youth program. We are a lacrosse club in Germany, and while we range in age and experience, we share a mutual passion to learn, work hard, and push forward the success and growth of lacrosse in Köln and throughout Germany.

Primary responsibilities will include organization and execution of practices, game preparation and coaching, and participation with the recruitment of future prospects.

Requirements include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree as well as playing and coaching experience. College coaching experience is preferred.

We offer a salary of 300 euro/month, which typically covers housing, and we will assist you with obtaining a working visa for another income-earning position such as teaching business English. With the acceptance of our head coach offer, you will be welcomed into a network of people whose goal it will be to make your transition to living in another country as smooth as possible and your experience in Germany unforgettable. We actively participate in fun tournaments throughout Europe during the year and look forward to sharing with you the European culture of lacrosse.

We expect our candidate to have collegiate playing experience, coaching experience, and the dedication to work hard with us at a higher level. Since nearly all Germans are able to speak English, speaking German is not necessary - just a passion for lacrosse. Due to working visa requirements and processes, a college degree is appreciated, with work experience in a business-related field preferable and teaching experience helpful. The successful candidate should be organized, reliable, and committed to growing a sustainable lacrosse program.

Help us to actively push lacrosse in Germany forward and take the opportunity to experience lacrosse in Europe! To apply, please e-mail your lacrosse-related resume along with a brief description about yourself. We look forward to speaking with you about all the opportunities and experiences awaiting you.  Salary: $300 euro/month.  Appointment: Part-Time
