William and Mary head coach Brooke Ireland has announced the hiring of Kelly McQuade as an assistant coach. Her primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing training sessions, orchestrating a faster and more dynamic team, recruiting, and scouting. More
Colgate head coach Mike Murphy has announced the addition of Matt Abbott to the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Matt currently plays Major League Lacrosse with the Chesapeake Bayhawks. More
After starting the program in the spring of 2007 and leading the Panthers to their first-ever MCLA Division II national championship in 2011, head coach Bob Clarkson will step down at the conclusion of the 2012 campaign. Clarkson, who is working on his doctorate, will spend more time in his other role with the university as a faculty member. More

Kanatiio "Tiio" Adams, 18, a Cornell University recruit and the brother of current player Myan, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. Among his survivors are his mother and father, Amanda and Thomas Smart, four brothers, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. More

The Swarthmore College Department of Athletics and Physical Education mourns the passing of Eleanor Kay "Pete" Hess, Professor Emerita of Physical Education and pioneer in women's athletics. One of the most beloved coaches and administrators in the history of Swarthmore Athletics, Pete died on December 14 at the age of 87. More
Dr. Ann Bates, the wife of Princeton men's lacrosse coach Chris Bates, passed away earlier today after a nearly decade-long battle with cancer. She was nine days past her 43rd birthday. More
