Hannover Women's Lacrosse (Hannover, GM - Germany)

Position Description: The women’s lacrosse club team of Hannover, Germany is offering a position for a lacrosse coach for the current lacrosse season. The team consists of 20+ players (18 to 34 years old), had its first appearance at the National Championship in 2008, and finished in third place. As of this year, the team is second in the country. The team has seven players who are part of the German national team and competed in the World Cup this summer in Prague for Germany. Practice is three times a week for two hours. Season starts in September until November and starts again from March to May. There are 7-8 teams to play against during the season at the weekends.

The Hannover lacrosse girls' team has just started to develop. It consists of 10 players from 7 to 15 years of age. There is no league for girls yet, but three other cities in Germany are developing teams for girls, and tournaments and friendly games are going to take place. Right now they practice once a week.

Payment: The monthly salary is 500 Euro (approx. $750 US) for practices three times a week. There is the possibility to work as an English teacher as a free lancer at a language school. If under 30 years old, no working visa is required for this job, and the institute is constantly searching teachers.

Visa: It is possible to get a visiting visa for one year without any problems. Language: Almost everyone understands English, so there is no necessity to speak German.  Salary: 500 Euro (approx. $750 US).  Appointment: Part-Time
