BANNER ELK, N.C. - The No. 2-ranked Lady Saints lacrosse team defeated Conference Carolinas-foe Lees-McRae 24-8 on Wednesday evening. Limestone climbs to 11-1 overall (8-0 league) with the win.

Lady Saint Kelly Lickert (Penn Yan, N.Y.) tallied five points from four goals and an assist. Melissa Howard (Ferndale, Md.) scored a goal and posted four assists. Kelly Oterson (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) scored three goals with an assist, and Katie Ilott (Whitby, Ontario, Canada) scored three times. Casey Wilcox (Liverpool, N.Y.) scored twice and dished out one assist.

Limestone heads to Misenheimer, N.C., to play Pfeiffer University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
