CLINTON, N.Y. -- Nationally ranked No. 5 Hamilton College scored the first 11 goals and cruised to a 20-8 non-league women's lacrosse victory against visiting Ithaca College at Campus Road Athletic Field on April 16.

Hamilton (11-1 overall) has won nine straight games overall and 16 in a row at home. The 20 goals scored by the Continentals are a season high and the most in 23 games all-time against Ithaca. Hamilton hosts 11th-ranked and undefeated William Smith College on Friday, April 18. The winner will own sole possession of first place in the Liberty League.

Kaillie Briscoe '09 helped lead a balanced Continental offense with two goals and two assists. Briscoe moved into second place on the program's career list with 216 points. Sarah Gloo '01 is the all-time leader with 223.

Hamilton's Nicole Tetreault '08 led all players with four goals. Kate Marek '09 chipped in three goals and one assist. Liz Rave '10 and Audrey Nebergall '10 added three goals apiece. Sarah Bray '11 came off the bench to net two goals and pass out two assists. Bray has 30 points in her first season. Kate Fowler '10 made six of her eight saves in the first half.

Kylie McClure '10 paced Ithaca (5-6) with three goals. Catherine Hurley '11 scored two goals in a reserve role. Meagan Howell '08 recorded one goal and two assists. Becky Bedard '09 was credited with two assists and leads the team with 30. Emily Brooks '08 stopped 10 shots.

Hamilton held a 39-18 advantage in shots and committed just 10 turnovers. The Bombers turned the ball over 22 times. Ithaca still leads the all-time series, 15-8, but the Continentals have won the last three meetings.
