No. 6 Lock Haven Breezes by Slippery Rock
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The No. 6 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (14-3, 12-2 PSAC) cruised past Slippery Rock University (0-16, 0-14 PSAC) 23-1 in the Lady Eagles 2008 regular season finale.
LHU was up 16-0 after the opening half and the Haven was led by a five-goal game from Amber Hoch (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area).
Rookie Jamie Uzialko (Lima, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) added four goals while Rachael Williams (Gettysburg, Pa./Catoctin) and Leigh Titus (Towaco, N.J./Montville) both recorded hat tricks.
Elizabeth McAuliffe (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) and Caitlyn Watts (Willow Grove, Pa./Archbishop Wood) each dished out a trio of assists in the win.
LHU goalie Kira Nuttall (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) made five saves in the win.
The Lady Eagles are back in action Tuesday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m., when they host a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Semifinal game.
