Christian Prince Tourney This Saturday Night at Yale

The Yale men's lacrosse team completes its fall exhibition schedule this Saturday by hosting the 2008 Christian Prince Memorial Tournament. Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart and Lafayette come to town to take part in the games that will run at 6 and 8:00 p.m. at both Reese Stadium and Johnson Field.

The Bulldogs, led by captain Matt Aronson and head coach Andy Shay, are coming off a 21-11 win over the Iroquois Nationals last Saturday night at Reese Stadium.

Christian Prince, the namesake for Yale's defensive player of the year award and a scholarship fund at the university, earned a varsity letter as a Bulldog freshman in 1990 but was killed in the winter of 1991. He had been a high school All-American at the Lawrenceville (N.J.) School, where he also lettered in football and hockey. Prince was very involved in community outreach programs.
