CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College women's lacrosse fell to La Salle on Sunday afternoon at Old Bailey Stadium. The Explorers pelted freshman goalkeeper Susan England (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman H.S.) with 39 shots. England made 12 saves and had a career-high six ground balls in her fifth complete game in the cage for PC.

The Explorers opened the game with six scores in the first 13 minutes of action. Junior Brittni Dulaney (Rome, Ga./Darlington School) stopped the run with PC's first goal off a pass from Handshoe at 13:09. Prisco found the back of the net after just two and a half minutes had passed in the second period, pulling within four of the Explorers. La Salle responded with its second 6-0 run of the game before freshman Kirstin Stenoien (Houston, Texas/Lutheran H.S.) responded with a goal off a free-position shot at 17:37 to make it 13-4.

Stenoien and Dulaney each won three draw controls while junior Jordan Newberry (Atlanta, Ga./North Springs H.S.) led the team with a pair of caused turnovers.
