St. Mary's City, Md. – Sophomore attackman Dennis Rosson (Severna Park, Md./Severn) tallied four goals and an assist as the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team snapped its two-game losing streak with a 12-7 non-conference win over The College of Wooster Saturday afternoon.

Attackmen Sam Burns (Potomac, Md./T.S. Wootton) and Michael Mules (Ellicott City, Md./Boys' Latin) contributed to the Seahawks' (2-3) offensive output as well with two goals apiece.

Scoring was even in the second quarter with both teams netting two goals each. Back-to-back goals by sophomore middie Matt Pullara (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe) gave Wooster a short-lived 4-3 lead before tallies by Rosson and Mules returned a 5-4 margin to the Seahawks at halftime.

The third period was 'The Rosson Show' as he tallied a hat trick, including two consecutive goals in a 1:16-minute span, to help St. Mary's sport a 9-5 lead at the end of three periods.

Weschler's second goal of the afternoon in the fourth stanza pulled the Fighting Scots to within three at 8:43. However, the Seahawks scored three of the game's final four goals, including a pair by Burns, for the 12-7 final.

Pullara commanded the Wooster offense with four goals and an assist, while Weschler finished with two goals and Lee had a goal and an assist.
