Randolph-Macon Routs Hollins in ODAC Action
ROANOKE, VA – Fourteen different Yellow Jackets scored goals as Randolph-Macon knocked off Hollins 18-2 in ODAC Women's Lacrosse Saturday afternoon.
R-MC (3-3 / 2-1 ODAC) scored the game's first seven goals in just over the first nine minutes of play, with seven different Jackets recording tallies.
After HU (1-3 / 0-2 ODAC) got on the board with just over 21 minutes to go in the opening half, R-MC reeled off seven of the final eight goals to go into intermission with a 14-2 lead.
Randolph-Macon out shot Hollins 37-8 on the afternoon, while Elyse Cooper led all scorers with three goals and Emily Kent registered a game-high five points on two goals and three assists. Kelly Stulman played just over 54 minutes in the cage for the Jackets, making three saves.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Monday when it travels to regional rival Christopher Newport for a 4:00 p.m. game.
