The Greyhounds scored the final two goals of the first half and the first one in the second half to close to within 11-5, but then the Gophers (6-6, 2-2 Landmark) reeled off six more unanswered goals, including Lucey's fourth and fifth of the contest.

Lucey and Cole weren't the only multiple goal-scorers for Goucher: Marlo Tersigni (Boston, Mass./Lawrence Academy) and Mary Lambert (Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill) both contributed three goals to the victory.
