WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Bates College men's lacrosse team scored five goals in the fourth quarter and kept Colby College off the scoreboard for the entire second half in a 9-8 victory in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday at Harold Alfond Stadium.

Bates ends the season at 4-9 overall and 2-7 in the NESCAC, while Colby falls to 8-6 overall and 4-5 in league play.
