GLASSBORO, NJ – The Ursinus College women's lacrosse team closed out its 2009 season with a 16-9 loss to Rowan on Tuesday night.

Kelly Angstadt had three goals for the Profs (8-7), while Michelle Lubrano, Tori Hart, Carly Welsh and Lauren Crennan each had two goals.

For Ursinus, junior attack Elizabeth Cannon (Garrison, NY/James I. O'Neil), sophomore attack Lindsay Urban (Doylestown, PA/CB East), freshman midfielder Alyssa Thren (Barto, PA/Upper Perkiomen) and freshman midfielder Kim Peifer (Collegeville, PA/Methacton) each had two goals. Cannon also added in two assists.

Thren and sophomore goalkeeper Emma Bacharach (Lancaster, PA/JP McCaskey) each had three groundballs, while Thren had three caused turnovers.

Junior goalkeeper Alex McBride (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) had eight saves in the first half, while Bacharach had two in the second.
