LeBlanc Finishes as Statistical Champion in Points per Game
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Queens University of Charlotte graduated senior Stephan LeBlanc (Restoule, Ontario, Highland) has been named the NCAA statistical champion for the 2008-2009 season for total points per game. LeBlanc averaged 5.43 points per game this season.
LeBlanc, who was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, finished second in goals per game with 3.86. He was behind Dowling's John McClure who registered 4.15 goals per game.
This season LeBlanc had a season-best nine points in two games, against Mars Hill on April 11 and against Pfeiffer on April 3.
Currently LeBlanc is playing for the Langley Thunder located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. In 10 games he has scored nine goals and provided 15 assists to total 24 points, the second highest on the team.
In September, LeBlanc will enter the National Lacrosse League 2009 entry draft in hopes of becoming a member of one the 11 professional teams.
