Merrimack Lacrosse Coach Mike Morgan Elevated to Full-Time
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Merrimack head men's lacrosse coach Mike Morgan has been elevated to a full-time position for the 2009-2010 season. Morgan will become full-time on September 1.
In addition to his duties as the head men's lacrosse coach, Morgan will serve as the department's business manager. Morgan, who is a 2000 graduate of Merrimack College, was the 2008 Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Coach of the Year in his first season and guided the Warriors to their first-ever NCAA Final Four in 2009.
"We are very excited to have Mike as a full-time staff member," said Director of Athletics Glenn Hofmann. "As a Merrimack alum, Mike has a passion for Merrimack athletics, and we are looking forward to having him help our department full-time, while continuing to pursue a National Championship with the men's lacrosse program."
