ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's lacrosse team has released its 2009 fall scrimmage schedule. The Midshipmen women will host matches on the Academy grounds at Rip Miller Field on October 3-4, 16-17, and the 24th.

In its first two seasons as a varsity sport, Navy has compiled an impressive 26-9 (.743) overall record while twice qualifying for the Patriot League Tournament. This past spring, the Mids put together a second-straight 13-win season and earned the program's first-ever league championship appearance.
