Hannah Rudloff Named Assistant Coach at Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist women's lacrosse head coach Laura Campbell announced the signing of Hannah Rudloff as assistant coach on Monday morning. Rudloff will join the Red Foxes for the 2010 season after a four-year playing career at the University of Pennsylvania.

"I'm so grateful to be joining the Marist lacrosse family," Rudloff said. "I really believe in this program's potential and Coach Campbell's vision, and I can't wait to help the team build on last year's successes, and again compete for a MAAC championship."

Over the summer she participated in the Global Players International Coaching Program, where she planned and coached practices in Austria and Germany. She also introduced the sport to Austrian children.

During her four seasons at the University of Pennsylvania, she was a member of the three-time undefeated Ivy League champions. In 2007 and 2009, the Quakers reached the NCAA Final Four. Penn advanced as far as the national championship game in 2008. As an undergraduate she worked extensively coaching camps, including the Penn Quaker and Elite Summer Camps, the All-Star Lacrosse Camps in Atlanta, Ga., the Triple Threat Lacrosse Camps in Mercersburg, Pa., and the Black Bear Lacrosse Camps in West Chester, Pa.

Marist completed the 2009 season with a record of 12-5, and advanced to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship game for the third consecutive season. The team set records in wins, consecutive wins, and winning percentage in Campbell's first season as head coach.
