After a strong first season as a member of the BIG EAST, the University of Louisville lacrosse coaching staff boasts new titles. Lisa Staedt is now listed as associate head coach, and Matt Lawicki hasbeen promoted to first assistant.

"I am honored that both Lisa and Matt have been by my side for the past four years and thrilled that they will continue in these new roles with Louisville lacrosse," said U of L head coach Kellie Young. "They are not only dedicated and passionate coaches ... but they are family. [These promotions are] well deserved, and I hope [are] a sign of my respect for what they contribute to Louisville lacrosse."
