Dominican College Adds Three to Lacrosse Coaching Staff

Dominican College Head Coach Manny Rapkin is pleased to announce the addition of three new coaches to the Charger staff. Defensive Coordinator and First Assistant Jimmy Hirsch of Putnun Valley NY, Offensive Coordinator Matthew Brancaccio of Greenvale NY, and Goalkeepers Coach Tim Collins of Yorktown NY all arrive in Orangeburg this week.

Hirsch, a graduate of DeSales University with a BA in Political Science and Communications, was a close defenseman and faceoff specialist for his four years in Center Valley PA. A sole captian and member of the winningest class in school history, Jim led the Bulldogs to their first MAC playoff berth.

Brancaccio, also from DeSales, graduated with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. He holds both the Bulldog single season and career assists record. Matt was also a member of the winningest class and first team to earn a MAC berth.

Collins, a graduate of Widener University (PA), was a member of a senior class that won four straight MAC championships and made four straight NCAA tournament appearances. A captian and the Middle Atlantic Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2008, Tim coached as a varsity assistant at North Salem High School.

Dominican College (NCAA Division II) is a member of the East Coast Conference.
