Trautman Joins Navy Lacrosse Staff as Volunteer Assistant
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Former Georgetown All-American and 2009 graduate Jordan Trautman has joined the Navy women's lacrosse staff as a volunteer assistant coach, head coach Cindy Timchal announced recently.
"We are extremely excited to have Jordan joining our staff," said Timchal. "She had a terrific playing career while at Georgetown and will be an asset across all aspects of our program here at the Naval Academy."
A four-year starter while at Georgetown, Trautman earned 2008 Second Team All-America laurels as a defender, was a two-time All-Region honoree as well as a two-time All-Big East selection. She also served as a co-captain for the 2009 Hoyas squad.
During her decorated four-year playing career, Trautman helped lead Georgetown to three NCAA Tournament appearances, two Big East Championships and an overall mark of 49-25 (.662).
Complementing her athletic background, the Mystic, Conn. native also brings experience coaching at the club level.
She coached and served as an assistant program director for the Northern Virginia-based Cardinal Lacrosse Club from 2008-09 and now currently serves as head coach and Director of Girls Programs for the D.C.-based Breakout Lacrosse training company.
Trautman received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Women and Gender Studies from Georgetown this past August.
