Wings Trade Thomson for Rights to Colleluori

Philadelphia Wings General Manager and Head Coach Dave Huntley announced the team has traded forward Sean Thomson to the Minnesota Swarm in exchange for the rights to Minnesota 2009 Entry Draft selection Kevin Colleluori and a third round selection in the 2010 Entry Draft. Thomson had six points (5G, 1A) in seven games played for Philadelphia in 2009.

Colleluori was selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (36 overall) in this year's Entry Draft out of Colgate University. In his four seasons at Colgate he accrued 129 points (103G 26A) and 109 ground balls in 53 games played. In his senior season Colleluori was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team while being ranked in the NCAA's top ten in both points per game (3.64) and goals per game (2.71).

The Wings open their 2010 home season on Saturday, January 16 versus the Boston Blazers at the Wachovia Center.
