BURLINGTON, Vt. - For the second straight year the University of Vermont women's lacrosse team will participate in the American Cancer Society and Chittenden County "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" event on Sunday, October 18 at Dorset Park in South Burlington.

The five-mile walk begins at 11:00 a.m. and registration for the walk starts at 9:00 a.m. at Dorset Park. The event is open to all ages.

Last year, the Catamounts raised just over $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.
