Rochester, NY -- Rochester Knighthawks Shawn Evans, Gary Gait, and John Grant helped the East All-Stars defeated the West All-Stars, 24-16, at Hisense Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The Rochester trio will complete the two-game LeasePlan NLL All Star Series on Saturday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. Melbourne time/4:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Gait and Grant were instrumental in a seven-goal second quarter, which put the East ahead 12-7. The games are a warm up for the Knighthawks players as they prepare for the 2010 season, which begins on Saturday, January 9th. That night, the K-hawks open their 16th season against the Buffalo Bandits at 8:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial.
