Cottle Signs 11 to NLIs for Maryland for 2011 Season
Maryland men's lacrosse head coach Dave Cottle has announced the signing of 11 players to National Letters of Intent to play lacrosse for the University of Maryland starting in the fall of 2010 for the 2011 spring season.

Named All-Anne Arundel County by The Capital after scoring 23 goals and adding seven assists as a junior ... his 2009 season was highlighted by a six-goal performance against nationally-ranked St. Andrews (Fla.) ... helped lead Spalding to its first ever MIAA "A" playoff berth as a sophomore in 2008 ... scored 14 goals and added 13 assists, playing on the first midfield line ... also a standout performer at linebacker for the Cavalier football team ... led the team in tackles as a junior in 2008 and was named to The Capital's all-county team, as well as All-MIAA and all-state (small schools) ... will join his brother Kevin, who is a freshman on this year's Terrapin squad.
