MAAC Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll, All-MAAC Team

Daley, a junior goaltender, was also named to the All-MAAC Second Team following the 2009 campaign. Daley started 16 games in goal last season, posting a goals against average of 11.98 and a save percentage of .448. A three-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Week during her career, Daley ranked 19th nationally with 9.44 saves per game in 2009.

The Griffs received 39 points in the MAAC preseason poll, as voted on by the conference's coaches. Only defending champion Fairfield had more points with 48. Marist (34 points), Manhattan (28), Iona (21), Siena (16) and Niagara (10) rounded out the poll.

Canisius returns 16 letterwinners and nine starters from the 2009 team that finished second in the MAAC and earned back-to-back conference tournament appearances for the first time in school history. The Griffs open the 2010 campaign on Feb. 13 at Longwood.
