Peddie School to Host 'Lacrosse Against Diabetes' Day

Hightstown, NJ --Peddie School will host an eight team play day on Saturday, March 20, 2010 in support of the juvenile diabetes charity, Team Brotherly Love. "Lacrosse Against Diabetes" will feature some of New Jersey's top high school boys' lacrosse teams, including Peddie School, Bergen Catholic, Seton Hall Prep, Moorestown, Glen Ridge, Cherokee, St. Augustine Prep in addition to Connecticut power Avon Old Farms.

The teams will play a round-robin format from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, as they prepare for the spring season and raise funds to support research toward a cure for diabetes. This event will be covered by Lax.com.

Team Brotherly Love is a not for profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Type 2 diabetes and its effects on families as well as raising funds for research for a cure. Through the group's efforts, they support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) and also the Life for a Child program through the International Diabetes Research Foundation.
