Saturday Predictions: Time to Sip Champagne or Eat Crow?

How did the computer's predictions fare given Saturday's game results? Well, it seems we have a not-so-little gender difference. We gave the computer credit for games picked correctly (of course) and for toss-up games ONLY IF the margin of victory was three goals or fewer.

Picks in green below were correct; those in red were wrong. For the toss-up games, the margin of victory is shown.

For the men's games, the computer nailed 40 of 43 for a 93.0% picking average. For the women's games, on the other hand, the compter's overall result was just 15 of 24, or 54.2%. The computer flopped on the toss-up games, picking just 1 of 7 correctly. Ignoring those, the average was 82.4%.
