Senior Nora Davis (Bishop Ludden/Syracuse, NY) converted a free-position shot for Nazareth with 20:23 left to make the score 11-9, but the Golden Flyers were held scoreless thereafter.

Hamilton closed the game with five straight goals to pull away. Anne Graveley scored two of her three goals during that stretch and Nebergall closed out the scoring with her fifth goal of the game with :31 left.

The Continentals, Division III champions in 2008, dominated the game statistically with a 47-19 advantage in shots and a 21-5 edge in ground balls. Hamilton also won 17 draws to Nazareth's 10.

Nazareth goalie Ann Sessler (Cazenovia, NY) made 15 saves, while Hamilton's Kate Fowler had seven.

Nazareth matched Hamilton on the scoreboard for most of the first half as seven different player scored for the Golden Flyers. Hamilton led 4-3 following a goal by Nebergall with 16:05 left in the half, then Nazareth took a two-goal advantage, 6-4, on consecutive goals by Stephanie Cash (Saratoga Springs, NY), Davis and Cregan.

Cregan and Davis each finished with two goals for Nazareth. Michelle Cook (Waterloo, NY), Cash and Alyssa Johnston (Canandiagua, NY) each had one goal and one assist.

The Golden Flyers take on their second straight unbeaten opponent Saturday when they host St. Lawrence in a non-conference game at 2:00 p.m.
