Yealy Dominates as No. 1 Wolverines Double up Bulldogs
Statistically, Michigan won nearly every category. U-M was outshot by the Bulldogs 41-38, but scooped up a total of 62 groundballs compared to 47 by UMD. U-M was 13 of 24 on faceoffs, and cleared the ball at a rate of 13-24 while riding Minnesota-Duluth to 12-22. The Maize and Blue scored four times on nine man-up attempts with the Bulldogs failing to score on five opportunities.
The Wolverines will return to the confines of Oosterbaan Fieldhouse and Ann Arbor this weekend with a pair of home games vs. Western Michigan and Central Michigan on Friday and Saturday respectively. Both games are scheduled for 7:00pm EST starts.
