Eastern Region Players of the Week (March 29)

This week we look at two underclassmen attackers in the Northeast who are making huge contributions to their teams as well as a senior defenseman from Washington, DC who is off to a tremendous start.

Chris Rixey, Senior, Defense, St. Mary's Ryken (DC)

Even though his team lost 8-7 to DeMatha, Rixey has impressed thus far this season. He had four takeaways in the loss, giving him nine total for the season--to along with 13 groundballs. Players who have been guarded by Rixey combined for just one goal through the first three games.

Devin Dwyer, Sophomore, Attack, Garden City (NY)

The sophomore picked right where he left off his freshman campaign. Dwyer handed out five assists in the Garden city's 10-5 win over Syosset. He led the team last season with 29 helpers.

Jeff Heath, Junior, Attack, St. Joseph's Prep (PA)

Heath was a big part of the 10-4 win over Downingtown East. Prep got up big early and never looked back as Heath contributed four goals in the effort. Prep now faces two quality Virginia teams before facing league rival LaSalle on April 3rd.
