Pastirik Leads Towson by Delaware in Teams' CAA Opener

Pastirik gave Towson a 4-3 lead on a goal 76 seconds into the second quarter, but the Hens battled back and took what proved to be their only lead of the game as Andrew?Unthank scored his first goal of the season off a feed from Elsmo at the 11:29 mark and Austin scored his second goal of the day just 41 seconds later for a 5-4 lead with 10:48 left.

Towson then dominated the rest of the half as Carl Iacona scored a goal to even the game at 5-5 with 8:05 and the Tigers took a two-goal lead into intermission at 7-5 with Tim Stratton scoring with 4:53 left and Matt Hughes taking a feed from Ganley and depositing a shot past Fossner with 2:52 remaining.

The Hens will be looking to even their CAA mark next Saturday, Apr. 10, when Delaware heads to Giants Stadium in New Jersey to take on rival Hofstra in the first game of a tripleheader as part of the Big City Classic.
