Greensboro Glides by Ferrum to Go 6-1 in Conference

Greensboro, NC -- Ashley Nolen scored one goal and had 6 assists as Greensboro College defeated Ferrum College, 15-4, on Wednesday. Layne Wooodard score four goals and won 7 draws for GC, which improved to 11-3, 6-1 USA South.

The Pride led 8-2 at halftime. The Pride had 37 shots to 13 for FC. Christie Hebert (Alexandria, VA/West Potomac) had 3 goals and one assist and freshman Kendra Allbritton (Lake Mary, FL/Lake Mary High) scored twice and assisted once for the home team.

GC goalie Velena Taylor recorded 13 saves for the Panthers (10-4, 4-3).

The Pride hosts Sewanee at Noon on Saturday. It's senior day, Pride Packs the Place and Alumni Weekend.
