Thomas College Comes Back for Win Against UMF

Waterville, ME After a very close game, Thomas scores a win over UMF 8-7 with a second half comeback. The first half of the game was extremely close with UMF leading Thomas 5-4. No player had scored double digits as both teams were playing very good together. Amie Daniels (Lewiston, ME) for the Beavers recorded six ground balls in just the first half where Kristalynn Kidd (Plainfield CT) led the Terriers with 5 ground balls.

In the second half, the Terriers pulled ahead in score and ground balls, as a team, Thomas had 22 groundballs where the Beavers had 17.

Kiley Jolicoeur (Oakland, ME) ended the game with three goals leading the Terriers followed by Megan Denby (Copiague, NY), Kidd, Claire Wyman (Dexter, ME), Ceara Dibiase (Westbrook, ME), and Katie Foyle (Salem, NH); each scoring a goal apiece.

Daniels led the Beavers with 2 goals followed by Alyssa Neptune (Readfield, ME), Anna Rerrick (South Portland, ME), Jessica Allen (Mexico, ME), Ashley Roderigue (Belgrade, ME) and Nateasha Oullette (Lewiston, ME) each scoring one for the team.

The Terriers finish their season 3-9 overall with a 1-5 conference record. The Beavers play again Wednesday April 21st against Husson for a 4:00 pm game.
