Vassar Snaps Losing Streak with Win at SUNY Cobleskill

COBLESKILL, NY (April 21, 2010) Behind a career-high six goals from sophomore attack Christoper Toffoli, the Vassar men's lacrosse team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 13-3 victory over SUNY Cobleskill on Wednesday afternoon.

The victory improves the Brewers to 4-8 on the season. Vassar returns to Liberty League action on Saturday night at Skidmore at 7:00 p.m. SUNY Cobleskill drop to 6-9 overall.

Vassar led 9-1 at halftime, getting a seven save performance from junior goalie Alex Tice. Senior attack Nick Cardillo had two goals for the Brewers and junior attack Sam Seymour also had two goals. Sophomore attack Jack Gross had three assists.
