No. 9 JMU Runs by No. 19 W&M to Secure CAA Top Seed

James Madison jumped out to a 5-0 lead during the opening 10 minutes of play. While Zulty put the College on the board with 18:45 showing, JMU outscored the Tribe 5-1 during the remainder of the half to lead 10-2 at the break. Golden provided the Tribes score during the latter part of the half, as she found the back of the net with 9:49 on the clock.

Rees scored off a feed from Zulty just a little more than a minute into the second half to cut the margin to 10-3, but the Dukes responded with six unanswered goals in the next 10 minutes. Although W&M outscored the Dukes 4-1 during the final 19 minutes of play, JMU held on for the victory.

The Tribe will close out the regular season when it hosts Old Dominion on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
