#2 Northwestern Downs #17 Penn State in ALC Semifinals

The victory over the Nittany Lions marks the 35th-straight conference win for the Wildcats, which includes the past four ALC Championships. Northwestern improves to 12-4 all-time against Penn State and has now knocked their Big Ten rivals out of the tournament in each of the past four seasons.

Both Northwestern and Penn State did what they could to pay their respects to the tragic event that transpired at Virginia as the Wildcats wore orange wristbands while the Nittany Lions sported orange ribbons.

For those who were unable to catch the live broadcast on BigTenNetwork.com, the game will air on the Big Ten Network Friday evening, beginning at 9:00 p.m. CT.

Northwestern now sets its sights on its sixth-straight American Lacrosse Conference title as it will face either Vanderbilt or Florida in the championship game Saturday, May 8. The game will be streamed live online at BigTenNetwork.com beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT and will re-air on the Big Ten Network at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.
