Cherry Creek Tops Regis Jesuit for Colorado Championship

Cherry Creek defeated Regis Jesuit for the Colorado state championship on Saturday. "The Bruins (18-2) were asked to come out strong and dictate the pace, focus on fundamentals, and expect a tight fourth quarter ... [They] produced the game's first two goals and led 6-1 before Regis rallied to make it 6-3 at halftime. Cherry Creek dominated the final stretch, with goals from Kendall Williams, Scott Hewitson and Brian Maierhofer" for an 11-4 victory.
