This week we examine one of the nation's pre-eminent middies, take a look at a Virginia goalie leading to his team to a title, and find a Delaware attacker stepping up in crunch time.

Michael Pettit, Attack, Tower Hill (DE)
Pettit's hat trick helped give Tower Hill its second state championship since 2005. The attackman's third goal came in the second overtime as the Hillers upended Salesianum 5-4. Tower Hill avenged last year's 13-4 loss in the title game to the Sals.

Thomas Schreiber, Midfield, St. Anthony's (NY)
Schreiber showed why he is one of the nation's best midfielders. The senior scored four goals to go along with two assists. Schreiber second assist set up Colin Clive who scored the game winner with 54 second left in overtime to give the Friars a 9-8 win and the CHSAA championship.

A.J. DiDuro, Goalie, Osbourn Park (VA)
DiDuro came up huge to help Osbourn Park capture the Northwest District title. The net minder made 15 saves as the Yellowjackets beat Loudoun Valley 9-8. Junior Devin Bushweller scored the game winner with 1:12 left in the fourth.
