Penn Lacrosse Announces Recruiting Class of 2014

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania's head coach of men's lacrosse, Mike Murphy, has announced his Class of 2014. Ten recruited players will join the men's lacrosse program this fall.

"We are extremely excited about this class and what we feel they will bring to the Penn Lacrosse program," said Murphy, who enters his second season with the Quakers. "Not only are they gifted lacrosse players, they are also very hard workers, good students, and first-class people from great families. We believe that they are capable of making significant contributions to our team in 2011 and beyond.

"This group brings a winning attitude, as their combined senior seasons led to an overall record of 185-19, four undefeated seasons, five state championships, six All-Americans, and two UnderArmour All-American Game participants. Our goal is to build a championship program, and we feel this class will help us accomplish that."
