Grand Valley State Names Tim Murray as New Head Coach

The Grand Valley State University men's lacrosse program is excited to announce the hiring of Tim Murray as its new head coach. Murray brings a wealth of lacrosse knowledge and coaching experience to GVSU.

Murray graduated from East Grand Rapids (MI) High School, where he won a state championship. He then extended his playing career as a preferred walk-on at Butler University in Indianapolis. After assisting different high school programs, Murray took the helm of the Rockford (MI) High School lacrosse program and turned it into a perennial state championship contender.

Murray steps into a Grand Valley team returning a highly talented squad that reached the quarterfinals of the MCLA national tournament in 2010. Grand Valley begins its campaign to win its first national championship this fall.
