Bucknell Lacrosse Welcomes Promising Freshman Class

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The 2011 Bucknell men's lacrosse team will get a boost from a promising 13-man freshman class. The members of the Class of 2014 cover every position on the field and range geographically from Bucknell's back yard of Lewisburg to New England to Montana to Texas to North Carolina. Impressively, the incoming class boasts six US Lacrosse All-Americans, as well as a long list of all-state, all-region and all-academic accolades.

The Bison have enjoyed a strong run of success in recent years, with national rankings and victories over top-20 programs the norm. Bucknell played in the 2008 and 2009 Patriot League championship games, and with three of their top four scorers, an all-conference faceoff man and the entire defense returning from last season, the Bison have high hopes in 2011.

"We are very excited to add this group of student-athletes to the Bucknell lacrosse program," said head coach Frank Fedorjaka. "It is a well-balanced class, and there is the potential for an immediate starter at each position. Overall it is a class that possesses a commitment to academics, competitive Division I lacrosse and a passion for Bucknell University."

Below is a listing of the team's incoming freshmen and some highlights on each of them.
