Fleischmann Named New Head Coach at Thomas College

September 29, 2010, Waterville, Maine Thomas College Director of Athletics Deb Biche announced on Wednesday the appointment of Kyle Fleischmann as the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach for the Terriers. Along with those duties, Fleischmann will also be serving as Assistant Athletic Director/Sports Information Director.

Fleischmann previously served as the assistant coach at his alma mater, Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. for the past three seasons. While in Winchester, Fleischmann worked as a full-time night counselor at the Timber Ridge School located in Cross Junction, Va.

Prior to coaching at Shenandoah, Fleischmann served as an assistant coach at Howard Community College for two seasons. While at Howard, he was part of the '06 Maryland State JUCO Championship team, and the '07 Region XX Championship team that also made an appearance in the NJCAA Final Four.

Fleischmann is a native of Ellicott City, Maryland and was a '05 Graduate of Shenandoah University. While at SU Fleischmann was a member of the men's lacrosse team, men's cross country team, and the football team. After graduation, he served at an intern for the '05 Baltimore Bayhawks of the MLL.
