Eight Recruits Sign NLIs with Hofstra for 2012 Season

The second member of the Pride recruiting class from Farmingdale High School is attackman Sal Tuttle. A three-sport athlete for the Dalers, he was named to the all-county team as a junior in 2010 after recording 41 goals and 42 assists for the Nassau County champions. Tuttle also received all-county accolades as a sophomore in 2009 after posting 27 goals and 12 assists. The four-year letterman in football is an all-county gridiron selection and is a two-year member of the Dalers' basketball team.

Defenseman P.J. White will join the Pride in 2011 from Huntington (NY) High School. Another three-sport athlete, White was an all-league selection for the Blue Devils as a junior in 2010. The 6'3 back-liner was named to the Top16 All-Star Team and also attended the Blue Chip 225 Camp and played in the MVP Lacrosse Camp at Rutgers last summer. White is also a member of the football and basketball teams at Huntington.

"We think this recruiting class could be the nucleus for future successful Hofstra teams," Tierney commented. "We look forward to their continued progress and wish them the best of luck during their senior seasons."
