Wolverines Take a Bite out of the Gators

• All three goaltenders saw action, with senior Mark Stone (Greenwood Village, Colo. ¨C Cherry Creek) starting and playing the first half allowing three goals while recording three saves. Fellow senior Andrew Fowler (Grosse Pointe, Mich. ¨C Hotchkiss CT) played the next 24:56 and allowed three goals while stopping two shots. Sophomore Cy Abdelnour (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) stopped the only shot he faced in the final 5:04.

• Senior long-stick midfielder and captain Matt Asperheim (Grand Rapids, Mich. ¨C East Grand Rapids) set career highs in assists and total points with his three helpers. His previous high was one, set multiple times.

• A number of other players recorded their first points as Wolverines. Sophomore attackman Matt Joseph (West Lake, Ohio/St. Ignatius) notched his first career point, an assist. And along with Chu, fellow freshmen, long-stick midfielder Brett Moscati (Greenwich, CT. ¨CBrunswick School) and midfielder Fernando Murias (Rockville, MD. ¨C Georgetown Prep) each scored their first goals.

• Every healthy Wolverine saw action.

• Michigan improves to 9-0 all-time vs. Florida.
