IWLCA Poll for Women's Division II (2/28)

The Adelphi Panthers continue their reign atop the rankings as the first week's poll is published; AU swept all ten votes in a unanimous selection. The same 10 teams remain ranked as in the preseason, with some shuffling through the poll, but the top three of Adelphi, C. W. Post, and Lock Haven remain intact.

The PSAC leads all conferences with four schools. Lock Haven holds at No. 3 while West Chester slips to No. 5; Mercyhurst remains at No. 6 and Gannon rises one slot to No. 9. The Northeast-10 boasts three institutions, led by No. 1 Adelphi and followed by No. 6 LeMoyne and No. 8 Stonehill. C. W. Post from the ECC sits at No. 2 and conference-mate Dowling moves to No. 10, and Limestone (No. 5) represents the Conference Carolinas.

In games between ranked opponents this week, on March 1, Gannon will travel to Pfeiffer, who received votes in the latest rankings. On Wednesday, the No. 4 Saints host the No. 6 Lakers of Mercyhurst. On Friday, March 4, the two teams picking up votes will square off as Rollins travels to face Pfeiffer. The No. 9 Golden Knights continue their tour of the south on Saturday as they face No. 4 Limestone.

The rankings are available at IWLCA Division II Poll. This link as well as those to other polls can be found on the Polls page.
