Royals Bounce Back to Down Southern New Hampshire

Antonangeli would score two goals a minute apart to open the second half to cut the hosts' lead to 11-6 with 28:15 to play. That would be as close as the Penmen would get, as Queens gradually pulled away and opened a 17-9 lead with just over six minutes to go. The Penmen scored four of the game's final five goals.

Chelsea Lancashire made 12 saves while going the distance in goal for Queens, while Hannah Moriarty (Chelmsford, Mass.) turned aside 15 shots for Southern New Hampshire. Moriarty moved into second place on SNHU's all-time saves list as she now has 282 career stops. The Royals outshot the Penmen 41-35, including a 22-14 advantage in the first half.

Southern New Hampshire opens its home schedule Thursday afternoon when it hosts Fort Lewis College in a 1:00 contest at Larkin Field.
