Boys' Lacrosse: Weekend Preview for March 11-13

On Saturday, Boys' Latin takes on Saint Andrew's in one of the week's most intriguing contests. All eyes will be on Saint Andrew's to see if the Florida power can post a victory against one of the country's most successful programs. Last season, Boys' Latin narrowly beat the Scots, 12-11, in a thriller. Saint Andrew's is particularly deep at midfield this season and should have the luxury of making frequent substitutions. However, the Lakers counter with standouts Jeff Chase and Wells Stanwick on the offensive end and will be hard-pressed to falter.

Other notable matchups this weekend include a Colorado showdown between CHSAA quarterfinalists Fort Collins Unified and Mullen. In Florida, St. Thomas Aquinas (3-0) battles an upstart Barron Collier (6-0) team. And in California action, Torrey Pines faces Rancho Bernardo while Foothill goes up against Saint Ignatius Prep.
