Greensboro Wins at Virginia Wesleyan to Even Record

Virginia Beach, VA -- Brittany Ziobro (Orlando, FL/Lake Howell) took four shots and scored four goals, as Greensboro College won at Virginia Wesleyan, 14-10. The Pride evened up their record at 3-3.

The green and white concluded their road trip with a big non-conference win against Virginia Wesleyan (2-3). Kelli Viana (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South), and four other players netted two goals each for GC. Toni Battaglia (Palm Beach Gardens, FL/Jupiter) passed for a game-high four assists along with her two goals.

Jessica Catanzano (Seaford, NY/Kellenberg Memorial) stopped four VWC shots. Courtney Williams scored a game-high five goals for the Marlins.

The Pride return to action on Thursday when they host conference foe Methodist University at 3:30 pm.
