#4 Franklin & Marshall Rebounds to Beat Babson

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. Franklin & Marshall had nine different players account for goals in a 12-7 win over Babson on Thursday. Erin Dunne scored a pair of goals and added both of the #4 Diplomats (4-1) assists in the victory. All of her points came in the second half. The Beavers (2-3) got a hat trick from Colleen Mitchell.

Dunne was one of three Diplomats with a pair in the game. Maggie Mae Shields and Mary Mitchell each scored twice. Both of Mitchell's goals game from the eight-meter mark. Her first of the day gave F&M a lead it did not relinquish. The second stood as the game-winner. In addition to her goals, Shields won three draws. F&M owned a 13-8 advantage on the draw circle.

The Diplomats outshot Babson 25-11. The Beavers Sarah Macary was credited with seven saves. Rebecca Rosen worked the first half for F&M allowing four goals. Kelsey Hoffman worked the second half. She allowed three and recorded the Diplomats only save in the game.

F&M returns to action on Saturday for the Centennial Conference opener against Muhlenberg.
